I wish that every woman on the planet knew what her natural hair looked like, and that if she decided to mess with it after that, it was because she enjoyed doing so.
I wish that every woman could enjoy the sight of her own face without makeup on it.
I wish that every person could appreciate their body for the miracle that it is, whatever color, size or shape it comes it.
And while I'm putting my order in, I'd like a large peace-on-earth and some extra good-will-towards-men.
Love,

I hope for whatever wisdom and good fortune it takes to raise three boys who respect girls and one girl who respects herself -- cuz those things seem in short supply, too.
All the best to you and yours, Eph -- and I second your good wishes.
Wah! I'm all right with the sight of my face, it's consideration for others that sends me to the cosmetic counter.
Hair is fine.
Body is cherished, because it works pretty well and its imperfections are allowed for.
My old car had a bumper sticker that said "Peace on earth, good will towards women." It started a lot of interesting conversations.
